Shokupan (Japanese Milk Bread)
"He's baking with regular yeast? What, is he sick or something?"
Enriched white bread made with milk, butter, and eggs. Insanely soft and fluffy. Baked in a 9x4x4" Pullman loaf pan. A thick slice of this bread toasted with peanut butter and raspberry jam is one of the most delicious things I've ever made.
